Privacy policy
Short version: no cookies, no ads, no tracking profiles, no accounts. Last updated October 3, 2026.
Who is responsible
This site is run by Illia Hrebenko as a personal, non-commercial blog. For any privacy question or request, contact me via LinkedIn or Instagram or GitHub.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may keep it in short-lived logs. Cloudflare acts as a data processor; see the Cloudflare privacy policy. The legal basis is legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics
Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, does not use local storage and does not build profiles of visitors; it only reports aggregate numbers such as page views, referrers and countries.
Email newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is stored by Buttondown, the newsletter service this site uses, together with the page you subscribed from (to send updates about that study). It is used only to send you new studies and study updates. Subscription needs your confirmation by email (double opt-in), every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me to delete your address at any time. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Live share prices
Some studies show current share prices. Your browser asks this site's own server for them, and the server fetches the prices from Yahoo Finance. Your IP address is not passed on to Yahoo.
Stored on your device
If you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the keytheme. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Fonts and external links
All fonts are served from this site, so no font requests go to Google or other providers. Links to LinkedIn, Instagram and data sources open those sites, whose own privacy policies apply once you visit them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. This site itself stores no personal data about visitors beyond the hosting logs described above.
